A handful of shapes, made by hand in Barcelona
TileKit comes from Alhambra Mosaic Studio, a small studio in Barcelona that puts geometric tiles into people’s hands.
It started with a workshop
The patterns of the Alhambra look impossibly complex. Look closer and they’re built from a surprisingly small set of shapes, repeated, rotated and recoloured.
That idea became our workshops in Barcelona, where people assemble their own geometric mosaics from individual tiles. Whoever walked in, artist or not, walked out with something beautiful.
TileKit takes that workshop home: the same tiles, the same shapes, and everything you need in one box.
Made by hand, tile by tile
Our founder, Nick, made the first 150,000 tiles himself. We design our own moulds, the tiles are made by hand just outside Barcelona, and we mix the paints in our studio.
Each kit is packed by hand, ready to be opened at someone’s kitchen table.
