Had a lot of past experiences buying craft its and it not turning out like the pictures. This was different, super easy to use and fantastic result.
Brilliant kit! Bought it as a birthday present for my mum and she loved it. The instructions were really clear and the final coasters looked amazing.
Wonderful kit. Ordered again after I finished the first set. Now have a matching set of coasters for my dining room.
My brother isn't very creative but he likes puzzles so I got him this as a Christmas present. He loved it! He spent hours experimenting with the shapes and coming up with new patterns, he had a lot of fun.
I was making patterns for hours. Instructions were really helpful and had everything you need to make some quality looking coasters.
The paints can be mixed together which really opened up a whole new set of options. Can’t wait to try this kit again and make something completely different.
Questions
Do I need any artistic skill?
None. The tiles are cut to fit together in specific ways, so the geometry does the work. If you can do a jigsaw, you can do this.
How long does it take?
Most people finish both coasters in 2–3 hours. Plenty spread it over an evening or two. Arranging the pattern usually takes longer than expected, in a good way.
Are the coasters durable?
Yes. The heat-resistant gloss varnish makes them fine for hot drinks. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; not dishwasher safe.
What are the tiles made of?
SIO-2 air-dry clay, made just outside Barcelona. Each tile is made in our Barcelona studio.
How long does delivery take?
7–12 working days. Shipping is £6.99, and free when you order 2 or more sets.
Is it a good gift?
It’s our most popular gift: birthdays, Christmas, housewarmings and date nights. It arrives in a compact box with everything included.
What language are the instructions in?
The printed booklet comes in English or Spanish: you choose when you check out. The video tutorial is easy to follow whatever language you speak.
